Teachers,

I just love, love, love this website.
These are books that you do not have to check out since they are online and are free. This is a way to integrate technology in your classroom. Use these books in your library center, as a whole class lesson, etc. I hope you find them useful.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share this video with you because it is an easy way to explain to your student and other teachers what a wiki is and what it does. It helped me understand better how a wiki works. I hope you find it useful. Just click on the side where it shows the video titled Wiki in plain English.
Hello Everyone,

http://www.mnddc.org/parallels2/three/002.htm

The above is a link of a presentation that shows how students with special needs have been served by the school systems since early 1900 to now. This is important to us as educators because we know that currently we have students with special needs that require assistive technology to help them with their studies. In reflecting on what I read I see how the school system has made improvement since before the students with special needs were not even allowed to attend school. They either had to stay home or be institutionalized. Today we know that we have students of all types in our classrooms, including students with special needs. What can we do to provide them with the best education? What assistive technology can we provide? I hope you find the presentation useful.

Kidspiration

Hello everyone. Have you all heard about Kidspiration? This is an awesome program made for K-5th grade students to help them develop thinking skills in all areas. My favorite part is that it provides templates for all sorts of graphic organizers to help students organize their thoughts. Check it out! This is a link for a 30 day trial.

Also this link gives ideas of how teachers out there are using Kidspiration in all content areas.

I wanted to share this website for those of us who use Microsoft Office often. Recently my district changed all the computers to Office 2007 without training or warning. :-O...I have been using the tutorials here to learn about office 2007. I hope you find it useful.

Hello...

Hello everyone!
My name is Cynthia Saraena and, like most of us, I am a teacher interested in learning the latest and greatest technology trends and websites available. I wanted to create a place where we can all post ideas and resources that will be beneficial for classroom use. Got an idea? Post it!
